One to One Counseling

Healing happens in many ways — through culture, connection, creativity, and community. At Whistling Wind, we offer a wide range of Action Therapy™ programs and activities that support personal growth, cultural pride, and meaningful relationships.

Therapy Rooted in Relationship, Identity, and Story

At Whistling Wind, our one-to-one counseling services offer a dedicated space for reflection, healing, and growth — grounded in care, cultural safety, and meaningful relationship. Sessions take place in a quiet, private office setting where individuals,
couples, and families are supported by therapists who walk with integrity, empathy, and purpose.

We provide office-based counseling for youth, adults, couples, and families.

Whether someone is navigating trauma, grief, addiction recovery, identity exploration, family conflict, or the ongoing effects of stress and disconnection, we meet each person with respect and humility.

Our Approach

Our counseling is guided by Narrative Therapy, trauma-informed practice, and relational, culturally responsive care. Though sessions happen in an office setting, they are grounded, collaborative, and personal — never cold or clinical.

We believe:

  • People are not the problems they face — therapy helps explore those problems with compassion.
  • Stories matter — and how we tell them shapes how we live.
  • Healing happens through genuine connection, not diagnosis or judgment.
  • Therapy must be culturally safe, inclusive, and relevant to real life.
  • Each session is shaped in partnership, with the therapist supporting each person or family to explore what matters most to them.
